Valley of the moon run Saturday 4/6

Doing a run to valley of the moon if anyone wants to join. I have not done it yet but seems to have some moderate sections.layball:

Yes. Been wanting to run this for a while.
I'll work tomorrow on the kids sports logistics as they have some games and if I can square that (finding other parents to drive and watch them for the day) I can make it.

Post a time / loc meet up spot and I'll let you know ASAP tomorrow.

I think [MENTION=68308]phqduphead[/MENTION] has ran it so pinging him for tips and maybe come along if he can as well.

Sweet! Circle K in Alpine has been a good meet up spot, however small. So if a few others join as well then we might have to choose another.


I'd say 9 for meet time unless people want earlier or later.. I'm pretty flexible.

At first my quality setting auto defaulted to low, so be sure to click the little gear in the bottom right of the video and force it to HD quality

4th time is the charm for me I guess.
Note to all viewers, the kids in the video seem a lot closer than they actually are because of the fish eye / wide angle lens on the camera.

A portion of our climb up to Elliot's Mine and exiting the valley were lost due to the camera overwriting them as it ran out of space. We'll have to get it next time. I'll work on that video later.

Well it took me 4 attempts so I suck. More damage to my fragile ego than rig.
And lets just say that my "new skid plates" are now "well used".

No damage, just a lot of dings and scrapes on my skids and sliders, but that is what they are there for. I wire brushed them a little, sprayed some rattle can protectant over the bare metal that was exposed and good as new.
