Vent Visors

Hey Guys~

Where is the best place to buy in-channel vent or window visors?

I got mine off ebay for a good price. but i'm thinking about having them painted same color as my truck before i install them, so it looks like it came like that.

I ordered the in channels from advance on monday, they were in and installed on tuesday. The in channels by AVS dont fit right IMO. The Wades on my Titan fit much better. So I took them back and swapped out for the stick on's from AVS. They look and fit much better. The back looks alot better since the stick on's go all the way around to the end of the window, not just squared off like the in channel.

Weathertech is the best, but I suggest not getting in-channel visors. If you MUST have them, get the 3M applied ones. The in-channel ones will stretch out the channel and cause your window to rattle. I had them on for a good 6 months, and even after taking them off, I still have a rattle that can be annoying at times.

what is the point of these? i dont get it, its not for looks is it? and it cant possibly keep enough rain out to make them worth it?

When its raining you can roll the windows about 3 inches and water doesnt come in... Your windows dont fog up. And on a hot day you can leave the windows craked and would be thieves dont even notice. IMO, I think they look nice too.

it doesnt rain enough here for me to worry about it. would be a waste of money for me

Hey Fo Sheezy? Did you pay $100 for your vent visors from WT?

Also, would you mind providing some tips or hints when installing these?

They dont just lside into the channel the window rolls up in correcT?

I got mine off autoanything for all 4 they are weather tech in channel the front don't have any double sided tape and they do rattle alittle bit when the window is open and the backs have double sided tape and no rattle other then that no complaints have had them on for about 2 years and they haven't evenstarted fadeing unlike my toyota brand bug sheild
