The next step is definately the switch. The way I am switched now works. That switch is a momentary switch which is better as it would reset itself when the vehicle is shut off. It would require the inclusion of a relay to work though. I'm going to look for a DAC type switch rather than going through the relay hassle. For now I'm leaning towards KISS (keep it simple stupid).
