vibration on the gas pedal

I am getting this vibration at the gas pedal every time i step on the gas pedal. The truck is not vibrating its just the gas pedal. What could cos this?

Start by checking if anything attached to the gas pedal is loose, the pedal bracket mounts, throttle cable, throttle body, etc. It could even be engine mounts.

Interesting. Wouldn’t hurt to check the ujoints. And possibly rear LCA and UCA bushings make sure there isn’t play in the axle. As giving it gas could force the axle to move in unusual ways. Start at checking bushings, u joints.

Could be motor mounts, becasue the throttle cable is attached to the engine when you accelerate it gives that feedback into the pedal.

it's this... little rubber grommet thing breaks down over time. at least it fixed mine and also another member.

On a semi-related note, would anyone happen to know the thread and bolt size for the accelerator pedal? Mine was loose and of the only both in the bracket, the it was not tightened. I am pretty sure the PO did not use a bolt with the proper thread.

Looked in the forums and the FSM and could not find anything.

Why not just buy the OEM parts?

90119-06456 is the bolt that holds the pedal pivot to the firewall
91635-G0630 is the bolt that holds the cable to the firewall

(the second one may be superseded, but the replacement part would work fine too, obviously)
