I have this weird vibration. I saw the same exact description in another thread after a search but it did not have a resolution. I am reposting below since the problem is exactly like mine. I have a 2005 4Runner V8 Limited with 132 kilometers on it. I think perhaps its a wheel bearing but I am not sure. Can anyone comment. Steering from left to right seems to fix the problem for a second. As soon as the truck straightens the problems begins again.
Here is the description I found that is identical to what is happening to me:
"I have had my 2004 V8 Limited for a few months and it has 74,000 miles on it. It is evident based on the maintenance records and condition of the vehicle that the previous (and only) owner took decent care of the vehicle. As you all know, once you have had a vehicle for sometime you become aclimated to how it runs and how it sounds. And this Toyota runs smooth, the engine is quiet, the transmission shifts normal and smooth.
However recently, and I am sure it was not like this when I purchased it, I have noticed something. Basically, at around the 1500 rpm range, while accelerating or anytime the engine is increasing power to the drivetrain, I get a resonating noise similar to a 4 cylinder car with a exaust beginning to go bad. I can feel the vibration through the pedal, steering wheel, shifter and hard plastic floormats. Now anything above or below this RPM range it is not noticeable. Also, this does not happen 100%, but I would say a majority of the time it is present. I would say it resembles two mechanisms not quite meshing together smoothly...that's about as well as I can describe it."
