I saw that on Expedition Portal the other day. Not a shovel in sight, incorrect strap hook-up, and bad towing angle. It's like the Anza video of the jeep that gets the body ripped off of the frame.

Just the front tow hook.
This happens very frequently if you do things wrong like this.
The axle is so vacuumed to the mud that when the body finally moves, the axle just gets left behind...

I've seen this couple of times in ice. But it's always because of the "Bigger hammer" attitude...

First rule-do not listen to the 33 people sitting on the bank with their own theories of how to do it.

Coordinate communication between tower and towee.

I love it-the guy behind the camera has it right-"dig out that dirt first" but no one in the tower vehicle hears him or pays attention.
