Video of my Aux defaulting to bluetooth that doesn't exists

So all of a sudden, when I turn my truck on and AUX is selected, I get the error " Bluetooth Audio Player not found." Aux is what my USB is playing on. But I have to hit AUX again to get rid of the error. If I choose CD or Radio, then I don't get the error, I only get it when I'm using the AUX button and turn the truck off. I did take the thumbdrive out and got the same error. I did a list of audio players and the system says there are none paired. So I'm not sure why all the sudden it's asking for one.

My local Toyota shop foreman says that's the way it works, but I've had the truck for years, and it just started this.

I could be mistaken... but the 'AUX input' is a 3.5mm (3/16") stereo plug which receives an analog a/c signal from your 'Cell-phone', ipod, walkman...etc from the headphone output jack. The BT feature needs to be paired, much like you paired your cell phone...

having the device available (with the BT feature turned on), and allowing the device to find the vehicle's BT frequency, or the 'Car-media' to search for a mobile BT (hand held) device; works both ways. Your USB input is a digital signal communicator; different than your AUX input jack.

So if you're not plugging anything into the 3.5mm stereo jack, the HU (head-unit) will see an error because of no available signal. And the same goes for the BT feature... if no devices are 'Paired' with your car-media HU "In the vehicle", there will be an error msg because the system can't find a participating unit to communicate with!

Again, I could be missing something that's going on, my '12 LE has a different HU (non-JBL XM), but I believe they still basically work the same way as far as the audio set-up(?)! 'Best to you',
