I'm working on this guys Titan and his upper oil pan has two bolt broken off in the block and I can get on the bolt straight with a left handed drill bit so I'm having to remove the upper t pan to extract the broken bolts. Service manual has been revised so you don't have to remove the engine to R&R the upper oil pan which is good.
My question is has any of yall ever removed the upper pan before? I have all the bolts out and am letting it drip over night, wont have parts till tomorrow any ways. Anything I should look out for while doing this. Just replaced the trucks shifter cable on a column shift and that was a pain in the rear, I think I'm just going to stick with working on construction equipment and tractors more room to work and easier to work on!
