Volant 05-07 4.7L Intake Deal!

I was cruising around eBay and found this link:

I'm trying to get them down to $245 but I need to generate some support. I'm willing to pay $250 but I'd also have to pay Cali tax (7.75%) and shipping (about $10). maybe if we can get more people in a bidding war we can drive them down to $245! Now is the time to get these intakes while the going is good! btw... anyone know of any deals for Borla exaust for an '05 Sport 4.7L? thanks guys! :beer:

The K&N for the 05+ V8 is on sale for $137 + shipping. Im not convince that the Volant is $100+ better.

I know... I started BOTH posts! I really at an impass as to which to get. I'm concerned about water getting into the K&N more readily than the Volant because of obvious design differences. I have read the thread on plugging up the holes on top of the wheel well to protect the engine bay from water, mud, sand, etc. I'm only a casual off roader... but I want something that won't cause a problem that I could avoid. I've used K&N before on my first car ever. A 1981 BMW 320i. I loved the sound at WOT and I'm hoping that either K&N or Volant will be a first step in making my 4.7L V8 actually sound like a V8! Anyone have the Volant for the V8 that can attest to this?

What all companies make intakes for a 2007 4runner V8?

As far as I know K&N and Volant are the only two companies that make a CAI for the 2005+ 4.7L V8. Prove me wrong if I'm wrong guys.
