I have a VOLANT CAI/V8 version.
Does it increase horsepower? by about 12 extra
Does it increase MPG? Rough 1-2 only from hand calculations
Does it sound good? YES, sounds deep and growly but not too loud and it is only loud and HEARD when you really step on it, no droning etc. etc.
Why are you selling it?
FAMILY crisis, well in a nutshell, crisis with myself and my health insurance. I have had the VOLANT on my 2005 4runner SEV8 for 3 and half weeks, recently, as in 2 days ago I have bad news that I need an operation. I'm not going into details but I am desperate now for every penny I can get.
If you want I can give you details on my EBAY sellers site that shows I am legit and have 100% satisfaction from customers etc. etc.
Anyhow, I have the VOLANT unit, with an EXTRA BRAND NEW air filter, already oiled and bagged, and also and extra set of the cleaning fluid that comes with it, boxed brand new, never used. So you have the unit itself with 2 filters, cleaning fluid and everything else, installs in 20 minutes or less.
I am selling it for $210 with shipping included/FREE. I paid $279 for it.
If you would like a CAI, this is a great CAI and you are also helping me out with my crap insurance and helping me pay my medical bills. I don't like crying out for help, but I have to do this.
