VSC engaging?

Guys

There have been a couple times when I was on an incline on my driveway where I paused in drive and the VSC symbol lit up and made the grinding noise. Is this normal?

My driveway has a very slight incline, and if I stop and allow the 4R to roll back even the slightest bit, my VSC lights up and beeps.
Not sure about the grinding, I'll have to pay more attention.
I would say it's normal.
