VSC, TRAC OFF, Check engine light all ON AGAIN!

I've been reading threads here for quite some time but I've become exasperated in attempting to resolve this issue. 2004 4runner 4WD. 160000 miles. The dash is lit up up wth these idiot lights and I can't seem to find a resolution. I've decided to reach out and get more opinions. The VSC, TRAC OFF, and CEL won't go away. Three weeks now. I've disconnected the battery overnight on several occasions, performed the zero calibration many times, and popped a diag reader on the thing and still get the same code: P0300- misfired plug.
I've done this:
Replaced all brake pads- they needed it anyway.
Found a rotten frozen caliper piston. Replaced the front driver caliper.
Found a questionable gas cap. Replaced.
Bled the brake system. twice.
Replaced year-old plugs. The existing plugs were fine. Replaced anyway.
Checked the coils and coil wires to the best of my ability. They look great. I hit them all with wire-drier considering the rain and humidity this year. I have no clue how to change the coil wires, but I can tell it ain't gonna be easy. The coils, I can change if I really think it's the issue. The things aren't cheap.
After two week and all of this, I had one good day yesterday. No idiot lights. It ran, and stopped, better than it has in five years. Drove 53 miles to the job this morning. Cranked it up at the office after 22 hours to drive home. Damn lights are back, it starts and idles all whacky again. I'm beginning to think that the software that runs this garbage is produced by Microsoft. I want my 76 Toyo truck back. No onboard sensors, no computer. Just engine. I sold it with 520000 on it and it didn't burn one drop of oil. I'm very happy that the software supplier doesn't produce aircraft systems, lest I'm utterly screwed.. At any rate: I'm open to any consideration, insight, belt-fed weapon, or otherwise. I've got until February when the emissions are due. I'm strongly considering a quick sell so I can get my myself a much older 4runner without all of this soccer-mom, baby sitter bullshit.

I believe most will tell you it's going to be a bad head gasket. From what I've been reading, you normally get a 0306 misfire which corresponds to the #6 cylinder and that's where the majority have been failing. From what I've read anyways. Do a search on headgasket issues and you'll see your symptoms are similar. I'm guessing you have a V6.
