VSC TRAC, VSC OFF and ABS lights on

Bump/Update
I have had zero luck with this problem and it becoming very expensive and frustrating...
I made the mistake of going to the stealership to get it checked out and repaired this past Tuesday. They said it was a bad hub. I was skeptical.
After a few hours and a few hundred dollars... The lights were out!!!! Life is good!
Not so much... Now I am getting some pretty intense vibration in the steering wheel when I brake at highway speeds. I never had that before. What a coincidence...
And of course... The lights came back on yesterday. It didn't even make it a week. Same codes...
C0200 - right front wheel speed sensor signal malfunction
C1223 - malfunction in ABS control system
C1235 - metal stuck to right front wheel speed sensor
Not that It will do any good... I plan to call that dealership and tear them a new one today.
What can I do? My vehicle wont pass state inspection with those damn lights on. I have time but this is becoming more than irritating!

Dealership probably left a nice greasy smear or two on your brake rotor when they had the wheel off, or they didn't torque the wheel properly. I'd check both.

Definitely do the zero point calibration to rule it out. Its a very simple FREE procedure you can do in 5 minutes with a short piece of wire.
I was getting 3 codes, one was the speed sensor and the zero point cal got rid of my dash lights.

Thanks for the response! Is this the proper zero point cal procedure for an 03? Just want to double check before I try this.

Alright... Lets hope this is resolved...
I tried the zero point calibration and that did nothing for my problem. It was worth a shot.
I took my T4R to a more reputable place that came highly recommended. They pretty much re did the work that the dealership did/said they did.
Brakes are good, lights are out! Fingers crossed!
FYI I do not know if any of you are in Maine... DO NOT EVER GO TO EMERSON TOYOTA IN AUBURN! They are completely incompetent!

And they are back... WTF! Things were perfect for a while. Here we go...
This time the lights come on when on the highway and clear when getting off the highway. Something to do with higher speeds. Could be another speed sensor? Strange...
Anyone have this happen? Any guesses. I will get the codes read after work today.

Alright, I had the codes read. Metal stuck to the right front speed sensor. Same sensor I had replaced a while ago.
I checked the sensor. It looks clean to me. The sensor and the wiring harness are pretty new and look in good shape. No lift was ever added.
Why do the lights go on as soon as I merge on the highway and shut off as soon as I take an exit ramp?
I do not understand this. I am certainly in no rush to go drop another $100+ on one of these little garbage sensors.
Anyone else had this trouble?

I cleared the codes and tried a new sensor today. No luck... the lights came back on before I even got out of the lot. I plan to return the sensor hopefully. Now my guess is it is the wiring harness or the hub again.
Any guesses? Anyone else had this much trouble with this?

I had this problem and tried everything.
I heard about the brake switch going bad so I replaced it and has been good since September.

I had a similar problem, not quite this level though.
It ended up being a loose connector.
There was also a bunch of grease and crap on the ring in the hub somehow. Maybe when I put it all back together it smeared on there?
I took it apart (second time) and wiped whatever that crap was off, it was like a big grease turd, and it was ok after that.
The turd must have interfered with the speed reading.
Weird, but maybe it will help. It’s a long shot of course.

I have had mine go on and off for the last couple of weeks. I'm curious to see what the resolution will be for the original poster.
I haven't gotten around to having someone run the codes to see what it is but I was thinking of just starting with replacing the gas cap, which I was planning on doing anyway.

It ended up being the sensor after all. There was a small hairline crack in it that could be seen with a magnifying glass. How it got there... Who knows?
I am not sure why the new sensor I put in did not fix this. The codes were cleared and came right back. So I put the old sensor back in and returned the new one. Those things are NOT CHEAP! Perhaps the new sensor was just a bad part. Just my luck...
It was kind of a bummer to pay a mechanic to do such a simple job. Oh well...

It has happened again. This is getting F'ing ridiculous!!!
Throwing the "Metal stuck to" code for the same sensor. Again...
What can be causing this? Why is my vehicle eating these very expensive sensors. I am becoming more than pissed with this problem...
