VSC TRACK, VSC OFF, CEL come on just hours after leaving the mechanic

I just had my 2001 4X4 SR5 (107k) serviced; replace timing belt, water pump, plugs, wires and did throttle body service. A few hours after picking it up, I was on the freeway when the VSC OFF, VSC TRACK and CEL went on. I am taking it back to the mechanic to look into why this may be. Seems like too big of a coincidence for the Cat or O2 sensors to fail that same day (which seem to be a common reason for these lights to come on) so I am thinking that it must have been something they did while working on it. However, I am assuming that they will claim otherwise. Anyone have any ideas or advice for me before I go deal with them tomorrow? I don't have an autozone or anything nearby to go check the codes myself and I know that it is not due to a loose gas cap.

honestly without pulling codes off the cel there's really no way to tell what in the world it is. Your best bet is to find a place to pull the codes for free and then figure out what you want to do next.

it could be something as simple as a sensor not being connected to something mechanical. At this point it's a shot in the dark.

Thanks for your reply. Took it in today. The code came up as an exhaust issue. They cleaned the Airflow sensor and did a reset - hoping that the sensor just picked up on something following the throttle body service. Drove about 30 miles so far, and no sensors on yet. Hopefully that is it. If it goes off again, then we'll have to work from there.
