VSS Question

Here is one for the electricians.

Does the VSS in '92 put out a sine or square wave? How many pulses per mile or rotation does it put out?

I am trying to figure out if an autometer VSS will put out a signal that the factory speedo will like.

Most Toyota's are 4 pulses per revolution.

Not gonna work out though, guess autometer speedo and tach it is. At least they make some that kinda match the other guages.
