Wab Fab?

I know that Wab Fab used to enjoy a good rep. I have recently been having some delays getting my on my slider adapter and offroad hi-lift foot.

Reached out a few weeks after ordering, since I hadn't had any updates, and got this short response:
" Next week or two. I'm behind."
No problem I thought, I am in no rush... That was Sep 17.

So I wait a month, shoot him another email, no response for 4 days...

So is this
1) Normal, and I am being impatient/unreasonable
2) Normal, but I should expect more communication
3) WTF?!

I read reviews on WabFab on numerous forums all 97% of them were all negative. Many said to not do business with them. There are a lot of horror stories that I have learned about his business. Personally, I would never consider him after reading those reviews. I know that fabrication takes time (Shrockworks lol) but this guy is shady. To the point where credit card companies had stepped in on behalf of the customer. Good luck.
 
I was just thinking "I'm sure he'll read this at some point" and then I remembered the Email trails I read between forum members and WabFab for what you are talking about. He basically will always tell you off and other things along those lines. Just some hard written facts.

I would just like to say for the record, I'm not hating because I haven't done business with them, but after reading the reviews, it just doesn't make me want to.
 
He's been banned off another forum. I love it since he was a mod there and threatened to ban me over posting someone else's fine 4Runner in a Craigslist ad. I hope that when you are buying something expensive you used a credit card. You should request a refund from the CC company NOW.
 
wabfab dude is a dick, use to be on this site, after ground outrage he left, thank god. i will not buy anything he makes. or even touches. not because product quality but because of he a gigantic douche nozzle. he is another reason why i don't go on yotatech
 
He doesn't have a good following and makes his own self look bad when he gets online to defend himself.

Pirate holds some good entertainment on the subject.

This is just from searching "wabfab" on Google. I had no idea that video existed, especially on such a big Youtube channel. I'm guessing he pissed off the wrong individual.

Did you happen to pay via a credit card by any chance? If so perhaps you can try to pursue a refund since people like this do not deserve your hard earned money. In cases like this your credit card company will fight for you.

Thats unfortunate. Ive only ordered some shackles from him before, but they were shipped out by trail gear. Can't say I've had bad experience with the guy. Hope this issue will be resolved.
 
Used to follow their Instagram page, sure seemed like they had a lot of time on their hands to screw around on Instagram for their long "fabrication" wait
