Really happy to share a personal account of a company standing behind their product and making things right.
I ordered Dirt King Fab LCA's in September. I purchased from totalautomotive during a holiday sale. Installed the LCA's middle of October.
Removed the front sway bar at the same time the LCA's were installed. Initially a lot of front end bounce. Way more than expected and bounce did not diminish over time. In December I noticed a lot of front end noise, squeeking and a slight metal on metal. Two lube sessions and no noise. I took 2 offroad trips, the last one in January where I used the locker with some hard driving. Get the truck aligned 2 days later and the guy says my ball joints are shot. Both ball joints. No way.
Contacted DKF to let them know. Put them in contact with my shop, took pics and video of the movement at the joint. Explained the whole back story.. could not figure out what happened. DKF said that shouldn't happen and sent me out new ball joints plus paid for 4 hours of labor at my shop.
Really big shout out to Dirt King Fab for working with me and standing behind their control arms. Never blamed me or assumed I tore them up. Great communication and I could tell the guys there actually gave a shit.
