Did you paint your wheels or have them powder coated?

If I had black wheels, I would take that back to the tire shop and ask them to re-balance with stick on internal weights; then you won't see the weights and you won't have them scuffing your wheels. Here's what they look like.

I painted them myself, they looked GREAT when I first did them, and they still look great 3 months later, except in the pictures they're wet so you can't tell, plus there's now scuffs and a blank spot from the tire install yesterday, but I'll sand it down and touch it up once it warms up and dries out around here. I used high heat paint btw, sanded the whole wheel, then 3 coats of primer, 4 coats of paint, 5 coats of clear, there's isn't a scratch on them except from yesterday and I've done some light offroading and TONS of street/highway driving.

I thought about that after I saw the first one done and on the car because I had the inside weights on my G35 (because wheel weights are tacky) but I've never seen anything but the external ones on SUVs and trucks so I thought maybe since the wheel/tire combo is bigger or something you have to use the ugly kind. They even came and told me that it's going to look bad because they're going to have to remove the old weights and put on new ones but I figured I'd just paint them, either way I have to cover up the old spots, not too big of a deal to fix the new ones at the same time.

I am, however, going to call and see if they have any stick-on weights they could replace these with, if they do, I'll make a move, but I don't feel like buying some and taking them in, I've already spent enough on the tires and I have extra paint laying around.
