Walker ss muffler bolts

I bought the Walker ss muffler system for my 2005 4runner, sport 6 cyl. The bolts, part number 36454, have a bolt, a spring, a heavy washer, and a sleeve, but no nut. I bought m10 1.25 nuts at the hardware store, but I'm confused about how the parts go together.

the stock flange is threaded so no need to have a nut if it's still threaded. If not threaded you need a nut. Bolt goes through the spring and spacer then through first flange and into second (threaded flange) tighten til you just hit spacer. Obviously you should install a new donut gasket too.

I just did this today with same parts and realized the bolts for the muffler to tailpipe aren't in the kits. I have to go back to the hardware store to find the right sizes. Make sure you pick up a can of VHT high temp to spray the weak weld and crimp points if you want to get another year or two out of it with these NE winters. You have to follow the bake instructions or the paint will just flake off.

This spring joint has been making so much noise..
I actually was able to one of the old bolts out. in the process, destroying the threads unfortunately. The other side is going to need some encouragement of over whelming force.... There is also a gasket in there.
