I've seen the Walmart one in the store, and it comes in a box, so I'm sure all the pieces would have to be assembled. Contrary to what their website says, the box shows it being made by Reese. I thought maybe take the paint off, and tig the joints. However....

The Amazon one seems pretty sweet as well. It looks kinda small, but I see there's an extension you can buy. I'd probably want to weld that one together as well. I do have a Prime membership....

I like that it wouldn't be very tall while still allowing the factory cross bars on it.

Good find! I was going to make my own, but I know it would look like I made my own....

I would check out DiscountRamps.com they have neat stuff and I got my roof basket from there, it was about $125 after shipping and a good little unit. I wanted it welded so paid a body shop $75 to do it, it does great for a $200 rack!

Interesting to note that while the Wal-Mart one has bad reviews on their website, it has better reviews on Amazon than the one linked above. You can't always trust reviews. The Wal-Mart one might be worth the price if you can just return it to the store if you don't like it, instead of having to ship it back to Amazon.

Most of the ones on discountramps.com are on Amazon as well.

I need a fairly wide one as I need my canoe to go up there. It's too wide to sit on the factory rack.

I don't like this one aesthetically, but it's the biggest one I've seen so far:
