Also another question, what is the price on the 16x8's because they aren't on the website yet? Oh and one more, is there any thought about having a gunmetal finish like the 17x8's?

Due to the popularity and demand of the Konig wheels and our FN line of wheels as well we aren't usually able to offer specials, because the wheels are constantly selling out on their own. However, please contact me directly when you're ready to get a set of wheels, and I'll see if we have anything going on at that time. If I can do something, I will.
At this time, we're just offering the three colors of dark metallic blue, matte black, and matte bronze.
If enough customers ask for a gunmetal finish we can definitely offer gunmetal as an option in the near future. Would you prefer the lighter gunmetal like the 17x8" Konig Countersteer Type X, or the darker gunmetal like the 16x8" Konig Countersteer Offroad? We do also offer custom, one-off powder coating as an upgrade option.
Regarding the MK6 wheels which look similar to the Konig or FN Wheels that we carry - It is never my intention to attack or insult a competitor's product, and I have no problem with those wheels, but I will say that anyone comparing them side by side with our wheels should consider that:
-The MK6 wheels are significantly heavier than any wheels that we carry. Depending on the size and to which model of our wheels to which you are comparing (but comparing 16" to 16", 17" to 17", etc.) the MK6 weighs anywhere from 25% to 50% more than the equivalent Konig of FN Wheels model.
This is a huge factor when considering that this is unsprung wheel weight, which will really bog down your vehicle (slower acceleration), increase fuel consumption (reduce gas mileage), increase breaking distance / wear and tear on your brakes, reduce suspension and steering response, and increase wear and tear on suspension components.
-There are subtle differences in design as well. The MK6 spokes are blockier, and the profile is flat to convex, which puts the high spot of the spoke at or above the outer flange of the wheel. This is especially apparent when looking at the wheel from the side.
We prefer our designs to have a more concave profile design to the spokes, or a recessed, flat spoke design with deep lip in the case of the Konig Countersteer Type X of FN Wheels Five Star. We find that this gives a sleeker, more aggressive look that better compliments the lines of Toyota trucks and SUVs.
We understand that a lot of folks are going to recommend and go for the MK6 wheels based mainly on their cheaper price, and there is nothing wrong with that. However, when comparing the two wheels side by side we feel that the old adage, "You get what you pay for," holds true.
The design, fit and finish of your wheels and tires is something that you will look at every time you get into your truck. The weight and performance of your wheels and tires is something that you will feel every time you push on the gas to take off from a stop, step on the brakes, climb a steep trail, articulate a rocky outcropping, or do anything else that you do in your 4Runner,or any other vehicle for that matter. With all of this in mind, and if it's at all possible, we feel it's important to get the particular wheel setup that you feel suits you best.
