I am about to hit 5k miles on my 06 T4R & I wanted to get the sulfur smell TSB done when I brought it in. For those that have had this done, what did you have to do? Since the dealership I will have perform the TSB is a) not the one I bought my truck from and b) not exactly close to my house, I want to give them all the info they need and avoid having to make multiple trips.
I was planning on just calling them the week before I hit 5k & make an appointment to bring my truck in. Then tell them I want TSB EG005-06 performed when I bring it in so they can make sure they have all the parts in stock to perform the service.
Am I being overly optimistic here or will I have to suck it up & make multiple trips?
