Im going to buy a 1992-1994 4Runner and I have this problem.
I want a V6, automatic 4WD with a moonroof...but I don't want roof racks, and I know they are drilled into the roof. It seems very hard to find a combination of 4WD, automatic with no racks, and next to impossible to find all three: 4WD, automatic, and a moonroof with no racks.
What will happen if I take those racks off and what would I need to do to make it look good and be sealed off properly? Or is this just not a good idea in the first place.
