Will the 16" rims clear the front brake calipers on a vehicle that had 17" rims? I don't think so but have not tried.
 
if he has a SR5 then it will work. only the sports and some limiteds have the larger brakes. i could be wrong but im almost positive

But help me out here guys...

I have an 03 limited with the 16" wheels. I'm guessing the upgrade to the (standard for limiteds) 17" was done at the port or the dealers. As my t4r was purchased in Germany (it is US spec), it never received the upgraded 17s...

So, I guess this means I have the smaller brakes? How can I tell, besides taking off the tire and actually measuring?
