wanted: 03 factory 6x9 front door speakers

hi there,

I am looking for a pair of the funky 6X9 front door speakers from 2003 4runner. If you have upgraded your factory speakers, and don't plan on reinstalling them back in, please let me know.

What happened to yours?? Did it blow or something??

Why not try and get a cheap pair of 6x9 aftermarket speakers??

BTW, do you want the JBL 6x9 or regular 6x9??

haha no, I didn't blow them, the 2003 6x9 door speakers have the mounting and speaker all built into one unit. I plan on cut off the magnet/cone, and just mount a 6 3/4" woofer with the speaker frame. I think this will give a cleaner installation than making my own mounting board out of MDF.

just an fyi in the 03 runners, the front door speakers aren't 6x9 they are 6x8.
