Is it slipping?
In my old 3.Slow truck, the tranny began to slip. Instead of changing it out right away. We drained the atf and replaced it with WD40. The tranny stopped slipping and I got another 20k out of it. When my dad was a kid, they did this on the used car lot he washed cars at. Do this at your own risk

well....the atf fluid is brown and it won't go into gear AT ALL...so im thinking its shot. Any advice on what to check would be cool
