I have found several write-ups on wiring a Warn winch to have in-cab controls (running wires from the solenoid box to a switch in-cab), but all of these write-ups seem to have dead pictures. I was wondering if anyone had a good write-up that included pictures, as I am a very visual person. I'm wanting to wire it so it has an on/off switch (so I don't accidently spool in or out while driving) and then a spool in/out switch.

I've got this exact setup, but I'm terrible about taking pictures while I'm working on projects. I used a small panel from 12vguy.com, which made things easier. Mine is mounted in the console in front of the shifter boot.

Just get the wireless controller. Far bigger advantage, and easier.
Agree. A lot of people usually which outside the car with the wire remote. Maybe it's safer ?

I cant really help with pictures, but its not too difficult.
if you go with switches(instead of wireless) I highly recommend adding a switch out on the bumper, or somewhere near the winch.
I have one inside, and out front. I use the one on the front of the truck more than anything.
also, since adding the switches, I have not use the wired remote.
I haven't used any of the newer ones, do they have any delay?
I had used one a few years ago, there was terrible delay. both starting, and stopping the winch. I did not care for that at all.

This thing is awesome. No wires, just plug and play. I keep the dongle in my glove-box when not wheeling. The controller is mounted to the oh-shit handle.
Delay isn't a problem with this guy - I know what you mean though. I am able to pulse with the controller just fine when tensioning up.
Just keep the wired controller as a backup and you're set.
