Where you in 4LOW with rear diff lock and ATRAC enabled entering the water hole?

Awesome pics as always and I am jealous I do not live near an area like this.

I have a question about your Gobi rack. Do you have a custom made Gobi rack with the vertical front support bars removed to accommodate your led light bars? Hard to see if you have these 2 vertical support bars or not from your pics. In the pics it almost seems like you can get away with a normal Gobi with the front support bars since you have 3 separate led bars up there.

It does have the vertical posts. I had spoken with Gobi about my plans for lights. I haven't been able to compare to other Gobi racks to verify whether or not it was customized. Those lights barely fit and there is no room for adjustment.

If I started over I'd do a BAJA Utility rack or an ARB touring full floor aluminum rack. That new Rigid RDS does a better job of doing what I was trying to accomplish but it wasn't available at the time.

My favorite, Kane Creek Trail. We did it backwards.

Yep, thanks. This brings up an interesting point. That trim piece that overlaps the CBI bumper (you can only see it with the hatch open)--- is that separate from the rear bumper on TEs? I have an SR5 with the cup holder mod and I'm pretty sure it's all a one-piece bumper there on the SR5.

It's the same piece. I am pretty sure you could still do the cup holder mod.

Cool, thanks for chiming in. If worse comes to worst and I have to take em out, not a huge deal.

I have to make a decision soon if I want to keep the ladder capability with the swing arm. Thinking practically, I just can't really think of a time when I'd use the ladder especially if it was blocked by the swing arm. That would mean I'd have to open the swing arm just to climb the ladder when I could just use the swing arm to climb up like you demonstrated. Decisions, decisions...
 
Cool to see Moab in the snow. On the last day of my trip there this April we got some snow. It's cool to see the red rocks, white snow and blue sky.

I live about 3-4hrs away and I get down there as much as I can. I hope everyone has a chance to enjoy it.

The weather is about as unpredictable as it gets down there. It is a whole new world with new challenges when there's snow down there.

I imagine snow makes the trails much more challenging! I second your comment about the weather being unpredictable. It is supposed to be about 70F in Moab in mid April. The four days I was there this year it was about 50F for the high each day, it rained on two of the days and snowed on the last one. Still a great trip.
