WarnerD9's Build thread

I've had a few people ask for photos of the rear bumper lights and their coverage. Here you go!

Just noticed that the light on my drivers side mirror isn't working. Also, I should have taken some shots from the roof rack looking down. I'll get the mirror light fixed and we'll try again.

I forgot to ask. Did you end up getting a front locker while regearing your front and rear diffs?

Hows the engine rebuild progress going? Got the rig back yet from the dealer?

It already had an ARB in front. Got the rig back a while ago and just replaced the tired steering rack. All is well, unfortunately those 4Ls take about 20k miles before they wake up and get to work. Not sure why but this one, my third is the same way.

This is more what I was expecting:

You don't have nearly enough lights on that rig. I'm disappointed.

I'm sorry I disappointed you, a multi person tanning bed, Defender 110, and countless battery and alternator replacements weren't in the budget. I'll scratch the other stuff and build a solar powered sun replacement next time. Maybe I'll use a Prius or Nissan Leaf as my next platform!

How many switches did you have for your external lighting? I like the way you have it set up.

Solar powered sun replacement. Haha, epic! I'd love to see you do Hell's Gate in a Prius.

Yeah here's my inspiration!

but of course we would have to add the pseudo sun and an adventure trailer full of capacitors and solar panels.
I have one switch for the surround lights and 3 for other driving lights.

Awesome

I totally want to go wheeling with you in Moab sometime.

Now just need my roof rack and ladder to come in, then I can finish mounting lights. Then need to get my suspension kit installed and decide on sliders to replace my factory steps, and maybe a skid plate upgrade. A few minor details, all in the works though!

Found a pretty cool Mtn. pass today that I never knew about. It parallels I-15 and is a far superior option vs the interstate in my opinion.

I was checking out that route on Google Earth and it looks like you went right by a giant sink hole located at 36.973, -113.873.

Had a nice day with the wife kid and the Wasatch Cruiser club.

My boy was a little excited to be in the drivers seat... See if you can tell.
