WarnerD9's Build thread

CBI is building me some quick disconnect rear sway bar links. Also working on a front set as well. More to come.

Need more Pics!:pop2: Will CBI be producing this as a kit? I know I don't have KDSS but I am still interested...

What's the plan to keep them from flopping around when disconnected?

There are four pins. Two at the axle and two at about half way on the sway bar to frame mounts. When the lower halfs and sway bar are removed I will need to secure them to stay away from the moving axle. The plan is to mount some tabs to the aux fuel tank. Something we didn't get around to on this visit.

Looks like total swaybar removal, which sounds like a pain in the ass to me.

Why not just get a new torsion bar setup in the rear from Race Runner?

I had a few goals with this. I wanted to be able to run my rear long travel kit when I need it but also be able to make the many long distance road trips without tripping yaw and traction control sensors.

I wasn't aware of the sway away option and I'm somewhat limited with the aux tank taking the place of my spare tire. I will check them out.

Found the 200, welcome the newest to our Toyota family. Also found a worthy buyer for the 2011 4Runner. The 4Runner has served me very well and I learned a lot with a lot of great adventures. Thanks for all of the help, support and inspiration you all have provided. If you need me I will be on Expedition Portal under WarnerD9.

Sweet 200!

Where is your build thread on the LC?

How do you like the landy vs the 4runner? I prefer the SCS wheels on your 4runner than these wheels.
