Warranty question with aftermarket wheels/tires

I know not to touch suspension, but would aftermarket wheels and tires void any part of the warranty?

FWIW they are hub centric and just have a larger backspace.

Who cares. If something goes wrong, throw stock wheels back on and off to the stealer ship

In a nutshell no. Magnusson moss act.
Unless they can prove what you did caused the particular failure...then it does not void your warranty...

Black and white example...
Aftermarket wheels and tires won't void warranty on your window.

Putting a super charger may void your tranny, bit not your sunroof.

The mod has to be directly related to the failed item....like a lift may void cv joints, but not water pump.

If you have a wheel bearing fail and you have wheels with a drastically different backspace/offset compared to stock they could deny a warranty claim on that. Or if you have huge wheels/tires and broke an axle or driveshaft they might deny a claim for that.
