Water in Tail Light?

I replaced the bulbs and did the DD Tail-to-Turn mod so I pulled the taillights like all the videos showed.

They were really stuck on and I had to wobble them for 2 minutes to get them to pop off. No mentioned of any barbed clip in any of the videos but Im thinking now those clips I saw help hold them in, not just the nuts and bolds on the lights.

Long story short, I have water and condensation in the lights now. Should I just make sure the nuts are as tight as possible or is there something else I might have screwed up?

Did you take the actual tail light housings off ? I ask because i did this mod and dont remember any clip...it was super simple.

Also, is it still under warranty?

Yeah I took the actualy housings off. I saw some white barbed clip when I was prying and looking behind to see why it was being so stubborn. There's something mentioned in this, Part #2. Security Check

I don't think it is under warranty any more. I'll try tightening the bolt to make sure it has a good compression against the body of the vehicle.
