I didn't think these were water resistant, aren't there holes on the side?

The holes on the sides don't go all the way through. They don't have gaskets on lids like a lot of other boxes but they seem to do well for South African ammo boxes.

Love my Wolf packs. Great on the roof or in the back. Picked up a couple some lids too. Really nice to have the flexibility.

Funny, I've been designing one for myself at work that I just welded up but haven't ground yet so I don't have any real pics. Here's a model image though, its .100 alum and will be lockable and have a rubber lip to seal when latched shut. I sized this one to be the same as an average jerry can, but the dimensions are pretty easy to scale. I made a one that was about the size of a pack of cigarettes first to test it out lol.

Try Colemans Military Surplus. I believe it is Colmans.com They have many sizes and configurations. Everything from plastic, steel, aluminum, wood, and anything else they may be made from.

x2 on the wolfpack boxes. They aren't water proof but you gotta really soak them to get them wet. Plus it doesn't rain in Arizona.

Frontrunner has an XL transit bag that i want for tent bag, chairs, etc.

Nothing stays on the rack when we aren't camping though. Because it's a glorified mini van/grocery getter.

+1 on these boxes. I use them for my 3rd gen Tacoma too. They come in a couple of sizes and are very sturdy. One set has wheels too

Just drove from Parker to Steamboat while snowing with some Plano Sportsmans Chests on top. They have an o-ring in some of them, but mine didn't have them, just a nice deep lip. No water got in any of them. Super cheap at $39.99 at Bass Pro

Is that what they are? Front Runner just brands them?

Have 5 of them and really like them.
