Way I can rig window switch w/o buying new one

So my switch went out on my drivers side window and Im a little bummed. Just alot of little stuff on this used car has gone out. Kind of irritating.

Anyways, I would like to hold off on buying a new switch (~$100 at least) if possible. Is there a way i can just pull off the black switch and ghetto rig something? I know the motor is working fine something is just stuck on the plastic piece and keeping it from operating right. Right now my window is up but it is just a matter of time before I forget and have to play with it forever to get it back up.

Cheapest one I could find was $89. I will look closer. Stealership wants $350. I pretty much just called for sake of comedy. Are there other toyota models that would fit the same like a tacoma/landcruiser?? I have just been putting in "Switch" "4runner" in ebay and that is what I have been getting.
 
when you search for parts on eBay use the term 4Runner and also 4 Runner with the space between the "4". Sometimes you get different results.
 
Found my year/model on ebay. It was only $60 total with shipping.

Oh and is it pretty easy to replace? I made the assumption it wouldn't be too hard but I really don't know. Looks like there are just a few wire plugs to plug in and that is it. Wonder how hard it is to open the door up without messing up all the power window stuff.

its not hard. there is about 3 or 4 screws holding the pannel, the rest are snap buttons. there two under the arm rest (held by two snap in's) and 1 in the door handle. i dont have my 4runner today, so i cant tell you exactly how many screws. so after you get all the screws off just give it a little tug. all the wiring are different color/different size plugs. it isnt that hard. just make sure you take your time and take it easy when you put it back on. if the pannel dont snap in, dont force it as you can bend/brake the snaps off you. just look and see which snaps to be lined up with the hole. it doesnt need that much force to be put back on.
