i have the steering wheel wear ive been told thats from the oil and sweat off ur hands and with the black trim get some Mothers Back to Black detail solution and it will make all ur black plastic trim pieces look like new!! and im starting to have the hair line scratches on gages but i don' t notice them in less their in direct sun light. yea and also what every using to wash ur car find something a little genttler

Its the protective plastic piece on top of the rear bumper. ive kept armorAll all over that thing for the past 4 1/2 years and it still faded.

I'd give Stoner's Trim Shine and IMO and experience it is much better than Armor-All which has been known to dry plastics out.
I use the Trim Shine about every couple of months and it works better than most of the stuff I've used over the years but with any plastic out in the sun it's a constant maintenace issue.

The steering wheel issue is a hard thing to combat but that kinda wear is normal especially people that don't have the softest hands.

wow that is pretty bad.
My suggestions:
-Steering wheel cover with massage knobs
-Stop resting your fingers there or get a new head unit with remote or use your steering wheel controls (you probably dont have them)
-I dont know about the swirl marks or the bumper fade.

I have the same problem with my center gauge cluster. No wear near the radio and i do not have a leather steering wheel.
For a leather steering wheel, you can use a hand loation. Buy the best kind you can aford. Do not get the ones that are scented or has too much oil. I did that for my last car it worked great.

just used this product in my 2004 avalanche. Lots of faded plastic and trim all over the vehicle. Tried many products until I found this. Simply put The plastic and trim sucked it in like it had been waiting for it for its whole life. After three heavy coats ( 3/4 of a bottle) my truck looks brand new. I had to make sure the lotion penetrated the texture of the plastic but it did everything it said it would.
