Ok, don't laugh, I know this is probably a stupid question but here goes ( I apologize to girls everywhere if I'm embarrassing us) I know you shouldn't wash and wax if the car is too hot, but I ordered Zaino's and it should arrive soon and I'm wondering...What if it is too cold? I said don't laugh, I'm from south florida and we don't have that problem, but it's getting pretty chilly here in GA...Thanks for those of you not mocking me.

Zaino has an application guide . Steps 6 & 7 - looks like your OK in colder weather. Did you get any ZFX accelerator additive?
I've never used Zaino, I like Klasse All-in-one and Glaze.

It looks like it just takes longer to dry. Most contianers of wax have a guide on when to put something on. It has been my experience to stay away from freezing wheather.
Boy the directions for Zaino looks to be a pain to follow. I just use Turtle wax for $2.98 and throw that stuff on without all the fuss.

I did buy the additive, I still haven't gotten the zaino's shipment yet so I suppose I could have waited to see if they mentioned or not in the instructions, I just figured it wouldn't plus wanted to know if anyone's had difficulty with it in cold weather. I waxed my old car once when it was close to freezing and the wax was really hard to remove. As far as zaino's being complicated...I'm one of those people who thinks that if your not working really hard to do something it must not be working. Many times I look at those wax as you dry liquid sprays and think hmmm....But I'll try zaino's, people on here seem to highly recommend it.

Zaino works great @ 60 degrees or higher,any temp below that just increases drying time.Thin coats also dry faster and you can apply 3 coats in one day if you are using ZFX.Just follow the directions you receive in the package and you will have no problem.You will love the finished product

Thanks, I got the zaino's today, it actually says you can apply it in direct sunlight also, so I guess I'm set. Thanks everyone! I'll post more pics soon, I'm adding the AVS taillights after it's detailed and hopefully my wet okole's will be in soon (I hate waiting...patience is not my best virtue.:angel: )
just got back from vacation, trust me you wouldn't want pics of it with the bug guts all over. I need to wash it this weekend and I'll post some, the zainos is great though, keeps it looking clean even when there is a layer of dirt on it. My bf just did his truck with maguires and after one wash and one rainy day it looks like crap. Anyway, this is probably a better post for the zaino's vs griots thread...

Someone has already mentioned Klasse All-in-One . It's what I have used on all my vehicles for the past 8 years. Real easy to put on and off. But their Glaze is difficult to remove if to much is used. The results however are beautiful.
Find a product you like and stick with it. I have tried soooo many over the years, and have a cardboard box with a half dozen brands.
