Weathertech Classic mats, liner or 4Runner OEM mats? for the front

Hello 4Runner Owners,

I am debating which floor mats to go with. Your suggestion is highly appreciated.

I went with the OEM Limited mats in mine... I guess it depends if you will be getting your mats dirty alot or not

Toyota all weather mats are a better option, if you're going the mat route. I recommend against the WeatherTech Classic mats. They're not custom fit, it's what they call a "quasi" custom. They have about 40 patterns of various floor mat styles and they pick out the best shaped one for each different car. YMMV, with each different car and application. The Classic fits perfectly on my friend's '03 Acura TL, cut outs are perfect for the trunk release, footrest, etc. But they fit poorly on my Camry, it covers my trunk and fuel releases, goes half way over the foot rest. The rear mats are the same for every car, two rectangular mats with various chunks of rubber that can be trimmed/cut off.

I've got Husky liners in my 4R. The molded tray provides the best coverage and protection for your carpet. If the diamond plate design of the Husky isn't what you like, then WeatherTech liners would be another option. (WeatherTech liners can use the factory floor mat hooks, but I'm not sure if water can seep through those holes and into the carpet. Probably wouldn't a whole lot of water though.) I don't think WeatherTech has a second row liner yet. The Husky liners cover the entire second row floor including the center hump. IMO, Husky's are the best way to go.

Yes you very much!!! Yes pls pls provide some pics of the 4Runner Husky Liners. I am very interested to see how the driver and passenger look.
I would prefer to go HUsky too since they are cheaper than Weathertech. Look forward to your feedback.

P.S. Did you compare the HUsky to the OEM?

I tried to find different ones before I bought mine and really nobody had any for me to look at and feel in my hands. I was at the Toyota dealer and they had a set of all weather mats there in black so I bought them. They worked well in winter and will keep them in during the summer too , for off roading purposes. The fit is perfect and the quality is great.

I had Husky liners in my other truck and they were also very nice. I kind of did'nt like the haed plastic feel of them though. I do like the heavy thick rubber of the Toyota one's though.

I didn't compare the OEM mats. I saw the OEM mats for my Camry, and I wasn't excited by the price and that they were thinner than the WeatherTechs. WeatherTechs by comparison are heavy, probably like 4lbs each front mat. They are in between WeatherTechs and auto store stuff, thicker than the all weather mats at the auto store, but thinner and lighter than WeatherTechs.
