i know weathertech's are awesome imo b/c they are thick and they fit like a glove in my third gen (now have a 4th gen, and need to update my sig... *off topic)... i have seen the husky liners online but never in person...

i would like to hear your opinions on the pros and cons of each...

i already know that the husky liners are cheaper, but are they as thick as the weathertechs... gimme your opinions as to which one i should buy...

I chose Weather Tech because I will be purchasing a set soon to replace my Toyota all weather mats. They just look less cheap IMO, but probably work just about the same. Seems like mostly cosmetic differences.

However, they do seem more durable.
 
My vote would be Husky Liners. Had them on my previous 2nd Gen 4Runner and wish I would have bought them for my 4th gen. Have toyota brand all weather matts and not real impressed with them. The Husky's are great.
 
The WeatherTech's in a romp. I was surprised when I got mine for my Suburban. Surprised at how thin they were and then surprised how well they held up anyway. Nothing like taking a muddy mess out and spraying it with a hose for instant clean.

I especially liked one feature of the WT's: As a boater, I am often dripping wet when getting back into the cab after loading or unloading the boat. With the molded lip that goes right over the door sill, these are PERFECT for getting water out of the driver's area that would otherwise spill onto the carpeting. It just rolls right over the sill and out of the car as I'm on a boat ramp.
 
The weathertech look nicer, but the Husky liners work just as well (better in some respects) and are less expensive.

Do the weathertech have the little sharp nubs on the back that hold them in place? The Husky liners do, and they don't move!
 
Weather Tech Mats/Liner are the best

I have had Husky liners in other vehicles and they are fine, but thinner and more plastic like. Mine came rolled up and took a good week to flatten out.

I just ordered Weather Tech floor mats and a Cargo liner for my 2003 T4R Limited. They are the finest products you will find and are pliable rubber and very durable. They look great and the cargo liner flattened out completely over night. PERFECT FIT!

I recommend Weather Tech hands down. Just as with 4Runners, you really get what you pay for.
 
I'm really starting to consider junking my Toyota all weather mats and ordering a set of weathertechs. Just haven't decided if they are worth $169 for front/rear yet.
 
I installed Huskyliners when I got the 4runner new (2003). It is one of the best investments I made. They still look good and the carpet is still like new.

Yes, the Weathertechs ARE worth the extra cash. I also started out with the Toyota all weather matts. I did like the Toyota name stamped on the all weather matts and I also liked the fact they are so heavy and thick, but still flexible. My 2 dislikes about the Toyota matts are: 1. They cover the exact same area as your carpet mats (Weathertechs cover far more area for better protection). 2. The deep chanels in the Toyota ma

They cover ONLY the exact same area as your carpet mats (Weathertechs cover far more area for better protection). 2. The deep chanels in the Toyota matts LOOK cool, but are really hard to clean unless you take them out and hose them off (Weathertechs have very shallow chanels and are really easy to wipe down without removing them).

I just love the incredible custom fit of the Weathertechs. They look great too.

I love the weathertech floor mats. I use to have the husky liners in my Eddie Bauer explorer and noticed that when they got full of snow it often leaked onto my carpet, staining it. (Live in Erie PA

How long did they take to arrive? I am still trying to decide if I want to spend the $$ on them right now.
 
I got mine from suspension connection. If you are planning on using the factory clips for the mats don't plan on it. They dont match up extremely well. They took a while because it was over Memorial Day holiday. It took about a week. I will put up pictures soon.
 
I ordered a set of Weathertech floor liners this week. I'm replacing a set of 2 year old Toyota all weather floor mats that I used in my 2006 4Runner. after about a year I wore a hole in the driver's side mat where my right heel rests on the floor mat. I had to put supportive something underneath to protect the original carpet. I'm hoping that the Weathertech floow liner will be more resilient.
 
I just placed my order for front and rear WeatherTech's. I got them in black, and hopefully they will look nicer than the Toyota All Weather mats. All they did was collect dust/dirt, and were a pain in the ass to clean. I'll post pics when they get here.
