In addition to the protection of the carpet, do the Weathertech (or Husky for that matter) pretty much stop stuff from sliding around?

Yes, it does. Since I bought my Weathertech mat, nothing slips back there including groceries and my 6 month old....:D

I bought the Weathertech mat that is for the Non DD Cargo system, even though I have the system. I just find the DD useless, so I got the non DD mat that covers all edges. I put down the DD and lay it on top. Here is a pic:

PS: Make sure you have your binoculars looking a the pics...lol

And here is my 6 month old:

Thanks for the reply. I also have the DD and will do the same as you. Now, just have to find the right price. Thanks, again - as usual the folks on this board come thru.

huskys

I use the husky's up front and I love em. The grey isn't a perfect match but it doesn't bother me much. In hindsight I probably would have gotten black because it would keep the interior darker even though they show dirt more. They stay in place and catch a lot of mud/sand. They've managed to keep my carpet like new. My only complaint is occasionally the edge closest to the door will catch on yur boots coming into the vehicle.

Husky's for the DD system. Husky's for the DD system are designed for the shelf in the down position with full coverage. I think WeatherTech's for DD system is designed for the shelf in the raised position to go under shelf (thus it's not fully covered when the shelf is down). WeatherTech also has a liner for the shelf as well when it's up.

In that last photo it looks like their is some sort of bolt or screw in the part of the cover that is the left rear. True or just a coin or something else?

i just got my weathertech liners. love em. got em in black.

did everyone else remove their stock floor mats? or just pile the liners over the top of them?

I just ordered a full set (not including the cargo area) from llbean.com Mats(black)+tax+shipping to Canada: $204.35 I cant wait to get them!

On the left side behind the driver side wheel well (in the dipped part of the liner), that was a dime along with keys and stuff that fell out of my pockets when I was getting off my snow gear in the mountains. (I'm lazy, I took the essentials and left the unnecessary laying around.)

i thought that was for luck. :D

I originally had the Toyota all weather. What a waste of 100 dollars that was.

I upgraded to Husky for the front and rear.

The Rear and Cargo mat look identical to the Weathertechs.

The Front are slightly different, actually the huskys fully cover the driver foot rest, unlike the weathertechs.

I love our husky liners. By the same token, the weathertechs look great too.

If you want value, get the Huskys.

I figure I'll use my first post on this one. I got the weathertech mats and cargo liner for my 06, and they fit perfectly. Well designed, form, fit and funciton. Worth every dollar to keep the the inside clean when the hunting/fishing trips are done.
