Weathertech window visors falling down

Have had these on since the day after we purchased our 2016 and they are not saying in place anymore? Anyone else having this type of issue. I just noticed it today washing the t4r and since it is a holiday, weathetech being closed, figured I'd ask on here. Seems like they are installed in the correct channel.

I haven't had that issue... I'd say take it off and strip it, clean it, and put some new double sided tape on it. Use alcohol pads or something to clean the rubber on the track before reinstall. I'd keep the windows up for at least a day. I'm assuming it's just the back windows.

Had the rear ones not staying in place. Called Weathertech and they sent me new tape for the rear ones, no charge. Great people to deal with
 
I haven't had this problem with mine, but I purchased Wade brand, not Weathertech. I'm sure they are similar design, so like others have said,

Weathertecs

Had Weathertecs on our '08 Mitsu Outlander for 6 years with no problems. so went with them again on our '16 4R. No trouble to date. Check with the company and I know they will stand behind their product. Good luck with it. - Cheers, Ted

where would you get the tape from?
 
It looks like there wasnt any tape there at all? weird. If there was you will need to scrape it off and apply new tape. The 3m double sided automotive body moulding tape in can be found in any auto store. It comes in various widths.
Be sure to prep the mating surfaces well, use alcohol.

I believe they used the thin double sided tape rather than the thicker 3M. I would worry about using the thick tape and trying to fit it in the channel with the window. Just a thought, I'd roll it up slow. Follow the original instructions for fitment

When it is raining you can have the windows cracked for fresh air. Also, when I park outside on a hot day, same idea...and also aesthetics. I like the look personally..
 
I've always liked them, some people don't, It's a matter of preference... I can say with the window controls where they are, I was tired of having water drip directly on top of them.

I had these for awhile. Rolled down my rear window one day while driving and it came out of the channel and fell in the road. By the time I stopped to pick it up another car had driven over it shattering it. Went home and threw the other three in the trash. Swing and a miss for me, good idea, just didn't work out.
