Weird clunk after alignment

I just got an alignment yesterday and noticed a clunk tonight when backing out of my driveway turning my wheel to the right. While trying to find the noise I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary underneath. I also noticed that I can replicate the sound with the wheel straight, slow in reverse and hit the brakes quickly. It doesn't happen going forward or with the wheel turned to the left.

Any thoughts?

Guarantee they did not torque down the LCAs. Go down there with a socket or crescent wrench and tighten everything down.

I had the same noise in that situation, twice. First time I forgot to tighten my LCA to sprindle bolts. (yikes!) the second time was that when I replaced my ucas i tightend the main UCA bolt with the tires sagging off of the lift instead of when the tires were on the ground. I imagine the guy who did you allignment loosened something and didn't tighten it, like at all. I would get that checked immediately.

I think this is the issue. I just went down and started tighten it, and it moved relatively easy. Not finger loose, but def not 96 lbs. Problem is that it seemed to also move the adjustment plate too...I moved it back to its approximate location to start. I think I may drop it at the dealer that did in the morning. I'm going to ask them to make sure everything is still aligned too.

This exactly! Just happened to me a few weeks ago. Clunking when applying the brakes backing out of my driveway every day. All 4 LCA bolts were not torqued to 135 NM factory specs, especially the rear location LCA bolts. Torqued them down and no more clunks.

Just an update. The dealer made things right, no questions asked. I dropped it off this morning, replicated the noise in the bay when dropping it. Just called and said they were loose, possibly due to rust. They removed bolts, cleaned and they realigned and retorqued. Noise is gone! Thanks for the replies!
