Weird noise when cold

so, the past few days have been bitterly cold here in Kansas, and whenever i have my 95 4WD V6 parked outside for an extended period of time (2 hours +) the front suspension pretty much starts groaning, whenever i move, it sounds like something is rubbing, i think its the brakes, as the sound gets worse as i am braking or steering. Its always done it when its 15 degrees (F) or lower, but i just now realized maybe its not normal. Idk, any thoughts?

Yeah can you be a little more specific, I think I had this same problem and it ended up being part of the front end suspension
Does it do it when you are only moving slowly? Like when you are making a hard turn or all the time when you are driving?
Probably not the brakes, they wouldnt groan like that.
It could be something to do with your front end suspension for sure.
If it is happening when only cold, get someone to turn the wheel as you are under the ****er with a stethescope to pinpoint.
It could be lack of lube from diff or tranny or p/s,
Pinpoint it and there ya go

Just re reading I think it is probably the steering pump (check belt and level of oil make sure you are adding ATF) and check CV boots for torn boots etc.
Probably this is where you are going to find the prob bob.
