weird noise when warming the engine

Every morning when i start the engine to warm up there's a zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz sound. Like if the antifreeze is froze or something and theres no fluid flowing. But about 15 sec. later it goes away.
sometimes when i check the radiator hose it is sucked flat. so i have to open the radiator cap to let the hose breath.
a mechanic are saying that its my starter causing this because it's cold.
WHAT!!!

Check your power steering, mine was low and it made a buzzing sound until the engine was warm, it was intermittent too. Thats just an idea, idk if that is it though.

If you really have a collapsed radiator hose, you need to replace it. They should hold their form on their own.

that could be just the operation of the power brake motor. turn your truck on without cranking the engine, step on and relese the brake pedal a couple of times and see if you hear the same noise. if so then what you are hearing is normal
