Hi guys !!
I'm new here and I'd like to thank everyone for all the help I have find in this forum. I bought a 94 4 runner two month ago and I enjoy being in the 4runner owner family !!
Before this truck I didn't know anything about mechanic, I still don't know very much by the way! But since I got it and thanks to you I'm now able to change a valve cover gasket, shocks, breaks and a lot of hoses !!
I think the truck I just bought stayed park for a long time, so now all the hoses are breaking one after others ! It's a nightmare !! I fix a leak and ten miles after another just appear ! I could do all the circuit but you know how expansive are the Toyota hoses so I just still hope the one I fixed will be the last one to fail!
Anyway, that's lead me to today's problem.
I had a big coolant leak just behind the engine at the top of the heater, so once again I took off the intake to change the hose (which was not a good time, I now hate the clip on all the hose, it took me 2 hrs to get rid of one).
But I finally succeed ! So I put back everything, tried to start the truck and now when the engine is running there is a weird sound, like if there is something into it. I don't have enough light now to remove everything to see what it can be, I will do it at first hour tomorrow but I really don't know what can it be!
My guess is maybe I dropped something in the manifold, it will surprise me but it's the only thing I see .
Do you know if something else can make an unusual sound while the engine is running ?
And how bad it can be if I really dropped something into the manifold ??
Thank you for any advices !
Also I'm French so excuse my English .
