Weird tremble/ hesitation around 25 MPH

Hi,
I've been lurking for a year but haven't had a reason to post until now.

2005 4x4 4.0L 4Runner SR5, I'm the 2nd owner- bought it last year with 64K and now around 72K.

When accelerating steady- around 25 mph I'm getting a bit of a slight vibration- feels like a cross between a mis and too early of an upshift...

Since it is used- I'm not sure if the spark plugs are original or not- however shouldn't they be good for a bit longer? Do these vehicles have an accessible fuel filter I could access and change?

Really like it in most every other way

The plugs are due. The OEM plugs are just Copper plugs. They only last about 50k miles. So you are actually PAST DUE.

I'd start there. And I suggest you replace with the standard copper plugs also. There's no need for Platinum or Iridium plugs.

Should I do wires also? Are they reasonably easy to do on the 4.0L or should I pay someone for fear they might snap off? Any other items to get tackled at the same time?

Might be the early signs of this problem.

Coincidentally I was at a Toyota dealer today swapping a work car so I picked up some OEM sparkplugs, I'll probably have my regular mechanic change them for me soon.
I don't think I have quite the "rumble strip" issue however I might get the transmission flushed soon due to the mileage and I tow and midsize boat.
