Weird turn signal problem! Help por favor!

So I've never come across something like this before. My right turn signal works fine, but when I try my left it blows the fuse. I thought it had something to do with removing the bumper so I checked that I didn't accidentally plug the turn lamps in backwards and that seems to be ok. I googled, I inspected the lines to make sure there wasn't a piece of raw wire causing a short...anybody out there have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I don't have the harness for the trailer hitch, but haven't checked that end of the wiring yet. I'll hop under the truck and take a look.

So I messed around with it a little more. The driver side turn signal bulb was blown so I replaced that and replaced the fuse again. The right signal works fine, but the left signal (front and rear) don't work...the dash light for the left will light up but it is erratic and very dim. I can't imagine this is a flasher relay because wouldn't that knock out all the signals?

I'm going to keep plugging away with the multi meter but any suggestions would be appreciated.

Dim dash turn signal, and no outside turn signals, make me think it's not getting enough power through the wiring? But you are also saying you are blowing a fuse, which be cause by maybe too much power, so check your wiring to make sure you don't have short touching any metal?

Ok, so from bad to worse. I checked all of the unbundled wires I could find and everything looks fine, but it seems there is more wrong than the turn signal. The horn stopped working, the liftgate window stopped working, and that's just what I'm aware of on top of the left turn signal.

The only change I can think of to the factory wiring is the HID's I just installed, but the only tampering with the factory wiring is that you add the ballasts and instead of plugging in both head light receivers you only plug one in to the HID kit. I tried unplugging it but no change. I can't let it stay like this so I'm going to a shop this week, but any last ditch ideas would be appreciated.

What I've done so far:
Checked the wiring to and from the turn signals
Replaced the turn signal bulb
replaced the front, passenger side turn signal (the plug was damaged)
Added an additional 6 awg ground wire from the battery (had it lying around and figured if I was browning out it was worth a shot)

Seems to be the same with or without the high beams. I did notice on this go around though that the rear turn signal DOES work, it's just so dim it's hard to see during the day. The front one is inoperational.

I didn't have a factory tow package but another guy on here had a similar problem related to his tow wiring. Anybody know where I'd find the electrical that would lead to a tow package if I had one?

A quick update. I disconnected my front driverside turn sigal to make sure juice was getting to it. The multimeter is reading about 6vdc alternating on and off at the same pace as the turn signal should. After a few seconds of this the fuse was blown again, but at least that chunk of wiring is getting some signal. I noticed it has a ghetto rigged electrical tape sheath for those wires instead of the factory harness. Any chance, even though the signal seems to be getting power, this is my problem?

Edit: Nevermind. It goes back to the keyless entry which I do not have.

Well...still stuck and the first mechanic couldn't figure it out either. I was digging through the dash and I noticed a loose wire just kind of hanging out. It was wrapped around a 4 pin connector but it was not attached to one of the four pins, nor is the sheath at the end removed. Any ideas where it goes or what it's for?

If anybody else has this issue it is most likely the connector to your tail lights. Even though I didn't have a factory trailer harness to go wrong cleaning up the terminals and installing a trailer harness fixed my turn signal problem. My horn is still out so I have some digging to do, but this was my big concern. Here's the harness I bought for anyone else having this issue.

Same Problem....

Right turn signals work and the left front doesn't work. Replaced both build and still didn't correct the problem.... It's got to be the wiring..
