Nick(fellow Nick here) while I appreciate your name unfortunately the company you are representing is in a little too deep in this forum. Not just by the single thread linked above in regards to shipping, but if you do a forum search I'm sure you will find some great nuggets of truth.
You can look at all the posts from their employees and even their owners. I believe Paul still comes on here occasionally [MENTION=129674]ID2000[/MENTION] . He unfortunately skated around legitimate questions and tried justifying his actions which everyone saw clear as day was just patent trolling.
Paul was even nice enough to have Josh shut down his gofundme page, and have him read a statement prepared by Gobi's lawyer. Real class act there. Even had facebook reviews pulled off that were to show the general public who weren't aware what had evolved and even temporarily pulled his website.
How is the lawsuit with Baja currently going?

This forum doesn't like to let things go. On one hand we've got the same people over and over bringing up this whole thing with Gobi. Then we have relentless and the Venezuela company thing. It is a flip flop. Thanks for joining T4R. Once you get past the trolls which that might not happen then it's a pretty cool place. I had a Gobi and loved it with the exception that I believe that a flat and more modular rack fit my needs. But that being said I got so many compliments every time I was out about my Gobi. It was really well built. Did it take forever to come? Yes it did. But I knew that going in to the process and did the best thing possible. Order and forget about it. But any who thanks for offering up your services. Even if this is a hard crowd to please it is much appreciated.

Dude you comment on every single gobi thread started. I know you are passionate about it but let it go. What's done is done. You don't have to buy their product but a lot of us do and are over the whole ordeal. It's honestly like beating a dead horse at this point. We all know where you stand. Let's see what Nick does for the forum before trying to blow up a simple hello thread. Thanks for the consideration. Love the 4runner.

There is a lot of sh*tposting against gobi but in my experience the customer service was fast and they went above and beyond to take care of me.

Nick gets a little over stimulated when he sees a satisfied gobi customer, and there seems to be a lot of us we just aren't as vocal as he is.

Dude you comment on every thread and brag about yours? Whats the difference. You are absolutley correct a lot do buy their product, and I would say just as many don't due to other options available, not just their past history. Just didn't know the point of thread to say hello, I work in some vague capacity with Gobi? okay.

No overstimulation here. You are probably right almost as many satisfied customers as underwhelming consumers judging by the multiple page threads that don't involve the WMW claim but in regards to their shipping delays, customer service and response time(or lack their of), misleading information on their orders and given by their company, and also the rust issues they had with their product. But heres to you sir, defend your purchase and do you. After all it is the only available rack on earth and forged by Gods in the mountains of denver so its pretty much awesome.(just for clarification that was sarcasm). But hope you get some great use out of your rack(for clarification I mean that...off-choad on dude!)

I’m absolutely new to the 4Runner scene. I used to have a 2nd gen Tacoma on 35s and full All Pro products on them. I picked them because of quality and customer service. They have always gone out of their way to make things right when I needed them to. When I got the 4runner, I did a LOT of research on products. I knew I wanted the best quality product and one that looked good. Gobi fit the bill. I knew what I was getting myself into with the lead time. But during the wait, I wanted 2 changes and I contacted them and they changed it up. Here is my 4runner and Tacoma
