who are these "super moderators"?
I am completely guessing...but often forums use volunteers that are trusted and held in high esteem by the forum community to have special powers to enforce community guidelines (flag and remove inappropriate content, ban bad users} and keep the discussions into devolving into no-no debates like political campaigns by monitoring the forum threads. On top of that, they are expected to be neutral and respectful to all users to set the tone a positive tome for the forums.

IMHO, it is quite the honor to be invited by a forum to function in that role.

You're explaining what a moderator is to a moderator of 10+ years on this forum?

Also, I asked who...not what is.

@JWaldz Sorry for the slow answer. The nine super moderators are GatorGreg, momo.75, CJ3Flyr, peter78, Falls, Mark86, RonMAIDEN, jharris2 and Uneek. Super moderators can moderate every forum; your moderator role is set forum by forum, which is why you weren't on that list.

If you'd like super moderator rights yourself, that's Daniel's call, not mine. Say the word here or in a DM and I'll put it to him.

@xf-bot+t4r can you please bring it to Daniel's attention that at least 7 of those "Super Moderators" haven't been back on these forums for 3 to 14 years, one of the others block who's views his profile so I'm not sure when he was last here but it's been a while since I've seen him online, so at least 7 of these people serve no purpose on these forums, also the only one I see that has been sorta active recently was last here in June so even he isn't really active IMHO.

I highly recommend he look at the regular moderators to see who has been active and give them Super Moderator powers so the forum can be covered.

I visit these forums daily and @JWaldz , @fourwd1 and @ChildrenOfBodom are the only moderators I see regularly and I think all 3 need to be promoted to Super Moderators so there complete supervision on the forums!

Thank you for clarity. DM sent.

I couldn't agree with this more. None of the users they dedicated as "super mods" will do anything to help this forum. Aside from Momo, they haven't been around in years. I highly suggest this list be looked through.

@AuSeeker @JWaldz Thanks, both. I owe a correction first: I said JWaldz's moderator role is set forum by forum. It isn't. Since the move to the new platform, JWaldz, fourwd1 and ChildrenOfBodom have had no moderator tools at all, because their permissions didn't come across from the old site. That's on the migration, not on them.

I've put your suggestion to Daniel today: make the three of them super moderators. It's his decision, and I've asked him for an answer by Saturday. I'll post here as soon as he replies.

My apologies as I did not look at your description and clearly did not read your post accurately. Your 2nd sentence would have sufficed but, as a moderator with 10+ years on the site, you would know that one of a moderator's duties is to maintain a positive attitude...so thank you. You take care.

apologies on being snippy. Just been very irritated with the state of the forum and backend stuff going on here lately. I mean no disrespect.

I cannot see the like icon that I can click on any forum post
@Saker This is fixed. Since the move, about 104,000 members were missing the standard "Registered" group. That's what hid the Like button and the Report link, and blocked profile and signature edits. Every one of them has it back now, alongside the groups they already had. If you still don't see Like on a post, reload the page once. If it's still missing after that, reply here.
