So, I was initially interested in the RAGO FABRICATION product - "Modular Storage Unit" for the Gen 5. Changed my mind and contacted them a week later to cancel. Was told can't be cancelled do to special order. Welllll, that is odd on two accounts.
1. No where does it state on their website no cancellations/returns
2. Was told it would be several weeks to fill the order.

I sit here a bit miffed and will wait to see if they indeed "do the right thing"
Sure does make you wonder about their integrity.

Refund issued. Although the "Modular Unit is a nice addition, I in review, found it unnessary for my utilization.

Kudos to RAGO for assisting me in this issue.

it took me 5 seconds to find their return policy on their website. Seems pretty silly for you to use this forum to try to change the companies position on their policy by making them out to be the bad guys

just because it takes several weeks for you to get it doesn't mean that they wait to start your order for several weeks. they probably use someone else to batch cut and bend the brackets and then send them off to powder coating, if yours was already in that process it's understandable not to issue a refund.

per their return policy you can get a credit if they sell something else you want, if you contact them before it ships you shouldn't be out of pocket for the shipping

Almost any fab shop would have said policies as a standard, now throw in "special order" and that puppy might as well be etched with your name. They met the demand of the product in a stellar time frame, put the safety on your trigger finger.

Not really sure why you are taking an issue like this to the forum, it is your mistake, they clearly state no refunds/returns, and you decide this a week later no less! Put them up for sale on the forum, you might recoup some/all of it.

It's unfortunate but I get their reasoning. If I buy something I think about it and ponder and make sure I really want it. If it was your money that was on the line im sure you would align with them as a small company, not a large national retail chain. Maybe Walmart is more your style?

Why not tag [MENTION=139789]RagoFabrication[/MENTION] instead of a misleading title that they might not see but other members will.

Refunds

Rago Fabrication does not issue refunds unless they are unable to fulfill a customers order. Refunds will not be granted for any other reason.

Lack of doing your homework=your mistake. Don't bash or take it out on the company because of it. Be an adult and deal with it.

It's really unfortunate you have decided to take to this to the forums when clearly the item you purchased states NO REFUNDS or CANCELLATIONS in two different areas of the item description as seen here.

Despite the item being special order, we do not accept refunds. Our company is extremely small and we were not going to offer the single sides until we we received multiple requests for it. I opened it up as a SPECIAL ORDER per the requests of customers including yourself. I had over 30 other orders and I'm sure plenty of other people saw the same SPECIAL ORDER no cancel clause.

I find it very sad that now you are trying to discredit our company when I even refunded your money despite the item clearly stating no cancels or refunds.

I'm not sure what else you would like for me to do here...Clearly meeting your demand of a refund wasn't enough.

He was already refunded and I truly do not see us doing business together in the future.

Our company's integrity shouldn't be "questioned" or thrown on a forum because of a disagreement on a cancellation policy that was clearly stated. I refunded his money in a matter of a few emails not days on end.

We have not had any issues with members on the forums and intend to keep it that way. In the future, we will not break our policies for any reason especially since this is the end result. :-/

[MENTION=139789]RagoFabrication[/MENTION] is not Toyota. They cannot afford to return a special ordered highly customized part because you got cold feet after you parted ways with your money by your own volition...

I know these people personally. Everyone on this forum drives a nicer vehicle, and no one works harder than these guys. Their integrity is not in question. They work hard to help their customers, as they have in this case.
