Well this sucks

I come out of class this morning to find someone keyed my car. The scratches are on the front passenger door. I loaded up my stuff for the day this morning and they werent there, I come out of class and then there are scratches. There are no security cameras where I parked, so I dont have any good luck with finding who did it. Any suggestions on how to fix the scratches? Theyre pretty deep.

If it's just one door that is effected, you may want to get the door painted.

If it's more then a door it's more $$$. So maybe fill it in with a touch up pen then sand it flat and buff it.

Start with the women first they're more likely to key a car lol. hate it happened, not as costly but I had someone TP my parents house back in high school. I questioned the last girl that I had broken up with a few weeks prior. she basically gave herself up lol..

My best friends TPed my 4Runner 5 or 6 times because they thought it was funny. One time it rained the night they TPed. It turned into slosh. There are still pieces in my engine bay and door jams and such.

Same happened to me, but at the dealership. They basically denied all fault, but i know it wasn't there when i left home in the morning.

It ran from my passenger front door all the way to my rear fender.
Thank god the idiot only pressed hard enough in the passenger door and single stage paint buffed the rest out. Only now i have a bare metal streak in my passenger door.

If anyone has a suggestion for correcting this on single stage natural white paint, lemme know :l

Color chipping it will be your best bet. very cheap very easy and pretty effective.

buff/wax it to get the light scratching out of there and then go to your local dealer/body shop and ask about color chip. it will fill in the deep parts of the scratch with paint so it looks better and won't rust. It wont be perfect unless you refinish the entire door and then blend around it.

Take your thumbnail and go over the scratch. If your thumb dip down into it, then it is time for a repaint. No buffing will get that out.

My Acura, before it was totaled, was keyed by some jerk-o**, c&cksu$king co-worker, who though it was funny. Well, karma is a ***** for he scratched his eye lens due to loose metal shavings the next week and found out I enjoyed playing with his girlfriend as much if not more than he did.

Two scratches on one door are a great excuse to get body damage wheeling.

Mother f'ers. 3 rules people should live by. Don't mess with a man's woman, don't mess with a man's family, and don't mess with a man's belongings. Break any of those, you gohn get shot. Sry for the intense post. I've had my share of vandalism before. Yeah, just try buffing it out or use scratch filler. If it's not too deep, prob won't have to worry about rust.

Yeah, if i ever find who doesv this, the will pay. Im going to try to color chip it. But I agree with all of you guys. Personally i would break someones window out before keying their car. That can be fixed for alot cheaper. But im not one for vandalism.
